Last Monday, the whole Year 5 group went to the Saudi Aramco Waste Water Treatment Plant to reinforce their Geography knowledge and to find out just what happens to our water when we flush it out of our house. The day was extremely informative, and the children were a credit to themselves and the school - the staff at the plant said that the kind of questions they were being asked were those they would expect to receive from college age children!
Mrs. Gunn praised our Year 5 children:

I didn’t know where to write so I just wrote under the water treatment plant visit. Today three teachers taught us: Mrs. Gunn, Mrs. Beynon and Mrs. Williams. Unfortunately we missed P.E. because upper school were rehearsing for their show so Mr. Ashford told us to go to the upper hall but there were year sevens doing drama or something. It was boring just listening to the upper schoolers testing their microphones and practicing their lines :O. We made storyboards in English about Odysseus.
